Food Handlers Permit
All food establishments within the boundaries of the Borough of Hamburg are required to obtain a Food Handlers Permit Yearly from the Borough. Any business that is new, renovated or has change of ownership must get approval from the Sussex County Health Office prior to the Borough of Hamburg issuing a food license.

The Department of Environmental Protection has established a toll-free telephone hotline number (1-877-WARNDEP) you can use to report environmental incidents, abuses and complaints in or impacting New Jersey. See link for more information.
Mosquito Control
For information on how to reduce the mosquito annoyance around your home or in your area Please visit the DEP website through the link on this page. Larvacides may be purchased at your local hardware/department stores to control immature mosquitoes. Please use only according to package directions.
